We are delighted to announce that Awat Rahimi has joined Michael Evans and Associates as a Structural Engineer. Awat joins MEA after a career break to focus on his other business, a barber’s shop in Nottingham, and we are delighted that Awat has chosen to restart engineering career with MEA. Awat joins MEA at an exciting time as we look to expand our teams across the civil and structural engineering platforms. We have some interesting projects for him to be involved with, which we’re sure will keep him occupied as he settles into his new role.

I am delighted to have accepted a role of structural engineering at MEA after a career break. I am excited to restart my engineering career at an exciting forward-thinking company. I am looking forward to being involved in some interesting project MEA involved with. I would like to thank the board of directors for offering me a career revive role at MEA.
Outside of work, I play football twice a week, I go for swimming and running once a week, go for cycling once a month. I go out with friends once a week. When the weather is nice, I would love to do barbequing with friends and families. I also love holidays.
